Here are a few recipes you might just love.. Ceremonial Matcha Tea INGREDIENTS: 1 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder4 tbsp + 2 tsp boiling water INSTRUCTION: Pour boiling water into a small ceramic bowl. Gently whisk the tip of bamboo Chasen in hot water. This process warms up the bowl and softens the whisk. Discard hot water and dry the inside of the bowl with a clean cloth.Over the bowl, scoop 1 tsp matcha into a fine mesh strainer. Sift matcha into your dry warm bowl, to ensure there are no clumps.Pour boiling water into a teacup and let it cool down for a min or so. Once cooled, gently add a very small amount of hot water into bowl with matcha.Hold bowl with one hand, and whisk with the other. Mix matcha and water until it blends well.Add more water to thin up your mixture. Using your wrist not arm, whisk mixture back-and-forth, in a quick stroking motion until foamy.Drink right out of the bowl. Enjoy! Iced-Matcha Latte INGREDIENTS: Simple Syrup: ¼ cup white or brown sugar3 tbsp hot water Matcha Latte: 3 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder2 tbsp hot waterice8 oz plant-based milk INSTRUCTION: Simple Syrup: In a kettle, heat water until hot (not boiling). Add sugar and mix until it dissolves. Put in fridge for 15 min to cool. Matcha Latte: In a kettle heat water until super-hot (almost boiling).Into a small bowl, add matcha.Add 1 tbsp of water and whisk or froth (with frother) to mix. Move your hand in concentric circles along the walls of the bowl. Add more water if necessary. Add ice into a tall glass, pour milk, and add matcha, mix to combine. Add cooled simple syrup to sweeten. Pour more milk on top if desired. Enjoy! Matcha Pancakes INGREDIENTS: 2 cups white flour (for gluten-free version use Cassava Flour)2 tbsp Matcha Green Tea Powder2 tbsp sugar (optional)4 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt2 cups milk2 eggs4 tsp melted butter2 tsp vanilla extractoil/pam of your choice for cookingtoppings of your choice (can be sweet or savory) INSTRUCTION: In a large bowl, combine matcha, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well.In a blender, combine eggs, butter, milk, vanilla. Blend for 30 seconds at medium speed. Transfer into bowl with dry ingredients. *If no blender, mix by hand with a whisk.Over medium flame, heat a large pan covered with oil/pam.Take 1/4 of batter into a measuring cup and transfer to pan. Make sure to space out your pancakes.Cook for 1-2 mins on each side. Serve hot with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
